Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about our plans, features, and services. Your Dassu journey starts with clarity.
What is a smart contract?
A smart contract is like an agreement and a payment system combined. Once you define how revenue should be sharedβwho gets what, and whenβthe contract enforces those rules automatically and sends payments accordingly. No need for manual payouts or follow-up. It's trustless, transparent, and runs on its own.
Do I need to know how to use crypto or blockchain?
Nope. Dassu is designed for creators, not coders. You donβt need a crypto wallet to start, and most collaborators wonβt either. We handle all the complexity behind the scenes so it is an invisible layer but with all the benefits of Blockchain technology.
Is Dassu secure?
Yes, extremley. All Dassu contracts are deployed on the Polygon blockchain, which is fast, secure, and low-cost. Your data and payments are protected by enterprise-grade infrastructure.
What happens when I βuseβ a template?
Using a template means youβre starting a new contract. Each template comes with pre-set rules (like how revenue is split), and you can customize everything before launching it live.
Can I edit a contract after itβs deployed?
Not yet. Because smart contracts are locked once deployed, you canβt change the split itselfβbut you can create a new version or update metadata. Studio plans will soon offer a contract amendment workflow for flexible upgrades.
What are transaction fees?
Dassu takes a small percentage of contract transactions at 3%. Simple, transparent and with no ongoing fees or additional charges.
